Despite her professional experience, Fayth said she was nervous when she walked out in front of celebrity judges Simon Cowell, David Walliams, Alesha Dixon, and Amanda Holden. But when it came time to sing, there was no holding the young star back!
She selected the classic hit “Proud Mary,” and we’re certain her stunning cover would make Turner herself proud!
There’s no denying this 12-year-old can sing, but there’s something about the way she commands the stage that gives her that “it” factor we hear so much about.
In a video, she seems completely at ease, hitting the difficult notes like it’s second nature. Halfway through her performance, the entire auditorium is moved by her charm and rises to their feet, and the judges can’t stop grooving in their chairs.
When she finishes, Walliams is the first judge to offer her praise: “Very occasionally someone comes on this show to the stage, and you think, ‘They are born to be a superstar.’”
Not to be outdone, Cowell also showers her with compliments. Then he shocks Fayth and her proud relatives by standing up and hitting the elusive Golden Buzzer, catapulting her to the semifinals!
Fayth’s parents run up to celebrate with her as golden confetti rains down on them. The rising star is so excited and happy that she bursts into tears of joy!
This is exactly the moment these shows were designed to find. We can’t wait to see what Fayth does next!
Watch her breathtaking performance in the video below, and be sure to share her music with your friends.
