Fox News host Greg Gutfeld, 60, surprised fans this week by announcing the arrival of his baby daughter with wife Elena Moussa, 42. The news comes weeks after viewers grew concerned about his unexplained absence from the popular show The Five.
Gutfeld, who also helms the late-night show Gutfeld!, shared the exciting update during a statement on The Five. “Elena and I are overjoyed to welcome a beautiful baby girl into our lives,” he announced.
“Mira is healthy and has a strong set of lungs,” he joked, adding that their daughter has inherited his wife’s “stunning eyes” and his “rock-solid abs.”
His co-host Dana Perino addressed the mystery surrounding Gutfeld’s absence, explaining, “Many of you have been wondering where Greg has been. Well, it’s for a wonderful reason, and I have the privilege of sharing this special message from him.”
Gutfeld had kept news of his wife’s pregnancy under wraps, but it seems the couple has been planning for this milestone for some time. In July, the TV personality reportedly purchased a lavish new home in Manhattan, fueling speculation that he was preparing to expand his family.
According to property records, Gutfeld bought a $10.5 million loft in the SoHo neighborhood through the same LLC he used for his previous New York property.
The luxurious residence is part of a converted 1900s-era building designed by the renowned DXA Studio. The condo boasts 3,560 square feet of living space and previously sold in 2021 for $8.55 million.
The announcement of baby Mira’s arrival and the couple’s new home marks an exciting chapter for Gutfeld, whose life is now filled with both professional success and personal joy.
